Join Trees Knoxville and Lonsdale Elementary School for a community tree planting and neighborhood Tree Adoption event. This free, family-friendly afternoon brings neighbors, students, and volunteers together to plant trees and grow Knoxville’s urban canopy.

Tree Adoption: 4:00 – 5:30 PM
Following the planting, Trees Knoxville will offer free 3-gallon trees available first-come, first-served for Lonsdale community members. These trees are intended to help increase canopy and shade within the Lonsdale neighborhood.
Volunteer registration is required for the planting event.

Please dress for working outdoors. Tools and gloves will be provided, though you are welcome to bring your own.
