Lonsdale Community Tree Planting and Tree Adoption

Please join us for a partnership with Lonsdale Elementary Boys and Girls Club, Community Tree Planting, and Tree Adoption. We will be working alongside Lonsdale students in planting trees as part of our Canopies for Campus tree program.

Please dress for working outdoors. This event will take place rain or shine. Trees Knoxville will provide gloves and tools, but you are welcome to bring your own if preferred.

Come help plant trees, meet neighbors, and support a healthier, greener Knoxville. Learn to plant trees and support the community!

Tree Planting is 3:30 – 5 pm

If you are a part of the Lonsdale community, you are also welcome to stay after and join us for the community Tree Adoption and take home your own tree.

All trees will be 3-gallon size, and it is first-come, first-served.

Tree Adoption is 4- 5:30 pm
