Cottrell Greenway Community Tree Planting

Cottrell Greenway Community Tree Planting

Join us for a community tree planting at Cottrell Greenway in South Knoxville and help us grow the tree canopy along James White Parkway!

Come spend an afternoon outside with neighbors, getting your hands in the soil and helping plant trees that will provide shade, beauty, and cleaner air for years to come. Whether you are a seasoned tree planter or brand new, this is a fun and welcoming way to give back to the community and enjoy time outdoors.

Tree Planting: 2 – 4 PM
Please dress for the weather, wear closed-toe shoes, and be ready to dig in. This event will take place rain or shine!

Meeting location : Hillcrest Community Church

Trees Knoxville will provide tools and gloves, and our team will be there to guide volunteers through the planting process. Bring a water bottle!

We can’t wait to plant trees with you and keep growing a greener Knoxville together!
