Community forests create a more beautiful and healthier community. Our community forest projects occur at schools, parks, bus stops, and along streets. We will install a customized sign to display your sponsorship. The sponsorship includes tree planting, tree care, and site maintenance, such as pruning, mulching, and weeding. Community forest adoption starts at $2,000 per year.

We will host a tree-planting event, a workshop, or invasive species removal workday. We will collaborate with you to identify a date and location for your event. We provide the tools, equipment, and supplies to ensure a safe and engaging experience. Suggested donations for custom projects begin at $2,500. 

Starting at $5,000 your donation will support school tree planting events. Trees Knoxville selects up to five schools yearly for tree-planting events. Trees Knoxville will host a tree-planting event to engage students, parents, and teachers. Following the event, each school will receive tree care materials and supplies. 

Starting at a $10,000 your donation will support our tree stewardship program. The program trains and supports neighborhood leaders who will become Tree Captains for their neighborhoods. The Tree Captains lead tree-planting events and develop outreach, education, and stewardship programs for their neighborhood’s residents. Tree Captains serve as neighborhood leaders for at least one tree-planting season. 

Starting at a $10,000 donation will support a Trees Knoxville’s summer intern. Our interns learn about proper tree planting and tree care techniques. They will then help Trees Knoxville care for our community’s trees through watering, pruning, and mulching trees. They will also help with community outreach and education events, as well as data collection and analysis on our urban forest's health and ecosystem benefits.

Community Forest Partners are companies, organizations, or donors who want to support Trees Knoxville at a deeper level. A minimum of $10,000 will support a customized program. Our partners will engage with Trees Knoxville staff and be recognized as Trees Knoxville's Community Forest Partners. We recognize and highlight our Partners through our website, social media, newsletters, mailers, and signage at our events.
