“A Call to Action”: Urban Forester Kasey Krouse will go over the simple tactics that Volunteer Foresters can utilize in helping reach the goals identified in the Urban Forest Master Plan. This will not only be a learning opportunity, but a brainstorming workshop where Volunteer Foresters will be able to provide input on successful tree management and community engagement, including

• post-planting care and maintenance of trees  

• engaging neighbors

• planting and invasive species efforts on private property

• becoming a neighborhood Tree Ambassador or local Weed Warrior

The workshop will be held at the Public Works Building (3131 Morris Ave) on March 4th from 6-9pm.
