Trees Knoxville wins Changemaker Award from KKB

We’re honored to have been been named a Changemaker by Keep Knoxville Beautiful! The Changemaker Award, one of KKB’s coveted Orchids Beautification Awards, was presented to us at KKB’s gala celebration at The Mill & Mine on February 7. The awards recognize individuals and organizations going above and beyond to elevate the local landscape and keep Knoxville “green, clean, and beautiful.”

Recipients were judged on how well they advocated for policy or design changes, engaged members of the community, and made a meaningful impact in their work. Based on our Urban Forest Master Plan process and our Canopies for Campuses and Volunteer Forester programs, we were judged to have made the greatest impact among a slate of deserving nominees. We’re grateful—thanks to KKB for the recognition!
